A Federation Letter to Israel’s Druze Community

Horrified by the brutal Hezbollah rocket attack that killed 12 Druze teens and children while they were playing soccer, Federation and its Israel & Overseas Department and Jewish Community Relations Council leadership sent a heartfelt letter of support to the mayor of Majdal Shams.

Labor & Delivery in Wartime

As conflict continues to escalate in the north of Israel, Federation partners Magen David Adom and the Israel Midwives Organization have created a new initiative to prepare healthcare professionals to deliver babies, in case pregnant women are unable to reach a hospital in time due to rocket fire.

Teen Israel Academy

The Federation-funded program will examine Israeli history and society, including the intricacies Israel faces within its own borders, with its neighbors and with the world.

Israeli Survivors Facing Trauma

Understanding the needs of elderly residents from Israel’s frontlines, particularly those in the south and north, Federation-funded Aviv for Holocaust Survivors is a nonprofit dedicated to safeguarding the dignity and wellbeing of Israel’s vulnerable seniors.
