Event Details

Description

Professional Photographer Silvio Frydman, during multiple trips to Concentration and Death camps in Poland has documented and interpreted with pictures one of the most despicable chapters of human civilization, the Holocaust. He will present a series of his photographs and interpretations encouraging the viewer to use art as therapy and healing and become “a witness for life.” These are a series of powerful and unforgettable images that ask the viewer to delve into the eternal question of how was this humanly possible.

Silvio D. Frydman, is an Artist/Photographer and a Jewish communal professional who works for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. He is fascinated with using art as therapy. He has curated his photographs from Poland into an exhibition called Project 180: Witnesses for Life and he has exhibited locally at the Jewish Museum of Florida, Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach and the Michael Ann Russell JCC.
