Description

Each year, we gather to honor the 85 innocent lives tragically taken in the AMIA attack, to stand in solidarity with their families, and to reaffirm our collective commitment to memory, justice, and the ongoing fight against antisemitism and terrorism. Your leadership—and your principled public statements affirming truth, justice, and the defense of fundamental freedoms—have resonated deeply with Jewish communities far beyond Argentina’s borders.

For nearly two decades, this solemn ceremony has been organized and led by members of our local Latin American Task Force. It is attended by members of the Consular Corps, as well as elected officials from the local, state, and federal levels of government, and traditionally features prominent guest speakers, including the Consuls General of Argentina and Israel. The commemoration is co-sponsored by more than 40 Jewish organizations and is typically attended by over 500 members of the community.
