Description
In every generation since the formation of the State of Israel, a small group of young men and women has stepped forward to protect the Jewish Nation. Some pay an unimaginably high price for their selflessness and dedication, often causing lifelong injuries to their bodies and spirits.
Brothers for Life is a non-profit organization created and run by injured Israeli veterans to give critical and immediate help, as well as mentorship and long-term support to the newly injured who sacrificed their well-being for the safety of the Jewish people.
From the moment an IDF soldier is injured, Brothers for Life (BFL) hospital visitation teams deploy to the hospital to connect the soldier to BFL, assess immediate needs, and begin the mentoring process.
We provide critical medical support to veterans who are severely wounded and chronically suffering. We focus on helping our injured veterans overcome PTSD through veteran-run mental health wellness programs. We give educational scholarships, vocational training, internships, and job placement. We offer comprehensive financial support, including financial aid, financial counselling and a free loan fund.
