Event Details

Description

It’s 10 p.m. on a Thursday in her freshman year when April locks eyes with Rudy in a crowded Manhattan bar—an encounter that changes everything. Hours later, Rudy is arrested; days later, April is expelled; weeks later, Rudy is in prison. Months later, April meets Peter, a brilliant young lawyer who helps rebuild her life. Years pass, and April is married to Peter, living happily in Chicago with their children. But on the eve of Peter’s local election, Rudy is up for parole—and April’s past resurfaces, threatening everything. Such Good People explores justice, loyalty, and love in the face of impossible choices.
