Description

Alejandra will focus on Yiddish songs such as "Zog Nit Keynmol az du geyst dem letstn veg” (Never say that you are walking the final road), known as "The Partisan Anthem" by Hirsh Glik that was created and sung in ghettos, and concentration camps, by Survivors.

These 3 classes will analyze lyrics, discuss historical contexts, and reflect on the resilience and humanity preserved through music.
