Description

This session explores commemoration and meaning-making in response to the events of October 7th. Designed for teens and adults, it creates space for an open and thoughtful conversation about remembrance and the ways we honor those who were lost.

Since October 7, debate over Israel has focused on accusations of genocide, occupation, colonialism, apartheid, and opposition to Palestinian statehood. In Israel on Trial, U.S. District Judge Roy K. Altman applies courtroom standards: burden of proof, corroboration, and evidence to examine these claims with legal precision. Drawing on history, archaeology, genetics, and international law, he separates fact from propaganda and explains what the law actually says about these issues. More than a book about Israel, it is a compelling defense of intellectual integrity and critical thinking in an era increasingly shaped by misinformation, rhetoric, and ideological conflict.
