Event Details

Description

The conference kicks off with an exclusive dinner on November 19 (for JINSA contributors 10k and above), headlined by former U.S. Central Command Commander and JINSA Hertog Distinguished Fellow Gen. Frank McKenzie, USMC (ret.), and JINSA President & CEO Dr. Michael Makovsky. This will be an intimate conversation where they reflect on pivotal moments in the Middle East that General McKenzie led, such as the assassinations of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Qasem Soleimani, and discuss critical opportunities for the U.S. military to most effectively support Israel’s security.

On November 20, we will have a full-day symposium (open to all) featuring:
IDF Major General Yaacov Ayish (ret.), Julian and Jennie Josephson Senior VP for Israeli Affairs, JINSA; former head of IDF Operations and former Israeli Defense Attaché to the U.S.
IDF BG Effie Defrin, Visiting Fellow, JINSA; previous head of the IDF’s International Cooperation Division, former Commander of the 27th Armored Brigade
John Hannah, Randi & Charles Wax Senior Fellow, JINSA; former National Security Advisor to Vice President Cheney
Blaise Misztal, Vice President for Policy, JINSA.
Additional speakers will be announced soon. The program will provide a wealth of insights into defense strategies and the critical work JINSA is doing to bolster U.S.-Israel security cooperation.
