BE PART OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY'S RESPONSE TO THE TEXAS WINTER WEATHER EMERGENCY
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation has established an Emergency Relief Fund to assist people affected by the extreme and deadly winter weather conditions in Texas. The historic freeze has left millions of people across the state without power, water and basic supplies.
As always, Federation will absorb all administrative costs so that 100 percent of funds collected will be used to provide emergency grants and loans, food, shelter and essential necessities as people struggle with the current crisis and its aftermath.
This past Wednesday, 25 Black and Jewish community leaders gathered to kick off the Jewish Community Relations Council’s (JCRC) Shine a Light on Antisemitism and Racism campaign, part of a nationwide initiative during Chanukah.
The Mission of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is to mobilize human and financial resources to care for those in need, strengthen Jewish life and advance the unity, values and shared purpose of the Jewish people in Miami, in Israel and around the world.
