Meet Our Speakers

Matthew Weisbaum

Matthew Weisbaum is the Managing Director of Clarion Project, a film-based think-tank dedicated to educating Americans about the threats of radical Islam. Clarion Project has produced the acclaimed documentaries Obsession, The Third Jihad, Iranium and Honor Diaries, which have been viewed by more than 65 million people and are used by law enforcement and intelligence organizations across America. Mr. Weisbaum helped start The Clarion Project in 2005 while living in Israel.

Dr. Netta Shaked

Dr. Netta Shaked, SOUTH BEACH PSYCHOLOGIST®, is a Florida and New York licensed psychologist. Dr. Shaked provides therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, psychological evaluations, and gifted/accommodations testing in her South Beach psychology private practice. Born in Israel, raised in Tel Aviv, Toronto, Miami, and schooled in Ann Arbor and Manhattan, Dr. Shaked is fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew. Dr. Shaked completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology at Fordham University in Manhattan. She holds an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Miami, and a BA with honors in Psychology from University of Michigan.

The Miami-Dade Jewish Community Study is a once-a-decade study sponsored by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and conducted by the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies at Brandeis University in partnership with NORC at the University of Chicago. Women Lead Federation

For the first time in the history of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, two women assume the organization’s top leadership positions. Lily Serviansky will become Chair of the Board and Mojdeh Khaghan Danial will serve as General Campaign Chair, following their installation at Federation’s 86th Annual Meeting, on Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Jungle Island Ballroom.
