Debbie Zimelman

Debbie Zimelman has been a photographer for most her life and considers it a privilege to translate what she sees through her camera to others. Her clients include individuals, families, as well as leading publications such as Oprah Magazine, Canada’s National Post, The Daily Telegraph and The Evening Standard. In addition to Women on the Front Lines, Zimelman has produced a series of photographs of prisoners at Israel’s only women’s prison. Her work has been exhibited on three continents and has been recognized internationally. She was born and raised in the United States, but has lived in Israel for more than 30 years. When not taking pictures, she enjoys spending time with her family and mountain biking.
