Elise Scheck Bonwitt

Elise is an attorney, certified mediator, business owner, consultant and coach. Currently, she is a principal at Scheck Group, a family office and the co-founder of Amenta, where she supports artisans throughout Latin America by selling their products online. In addition, she is the co-founder of Simpact, an organization committed to increasing performance of social sector businesses.

Elise has been actively involved in several non-profit groups and has given her time and energy to numerous boards and committees throughout Miami. She is a partner with Social Venture Partners and a Board Member of National Women’s Philanthropy and Overtown Youth Center. She serves as a mentor for Women of Tomorrow, where she works with 30 girls at a local school. She is also involved with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and is currently a Vice Chair of the Board. She has held a variety of Federation leadership roles including President of Women’s Philanthropy and Chair of the Women’s Impact Initiative.

Elise graduated from the University of Miami School of Law and Columbia University and completed the Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania. She enjoys spinning, running, reading, mahjong and participating in volunteer opportunities with her family. She lives in Miami with her husband, Gil, and they are the proud parents of five children.
