HFLA Federal Worker Emergency Relief Loan

The Hebrew Free Loan Association of South Florida (HFLA) is committed to helping our community in need. In the wake of the government shutdown, we know that many are grappling with economic instability, stress and anxiety. The HFLA is offering interest-free, short-term, emergency loans of $2,500 for Jewish unpaid Federal employees. No co-signer required. For more information, call 305.692.7555.

The Hebrew Free Loan Association of South Florida (HFLA), a Federation subsidiary, offers interest-free loans to Miami-Dade Jewish individuals and families in need, including personal loans, business loans and fertility and adoption loans. Over the past 30 years, HFLA has provided more than 600 interest-free loans totaling more than $2 million. The Miami-Dade Jewish Community Study is a once-a-decade study sponsored by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and conducted by the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies at Brandeis University in partnership with NORC at the University of Chicago.
