Read About Our Panelist for Transitioning to Adulthood for People With Special Needs

Nathalie Roman, M.S. is a Case Manager in The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation Transition and Adult Programs at UM-NSU CARD. In her role, she provides support, guidance, resources and referrals for teens, adults and their families in navigating the transition to adulthood. She also facilitates groups focusing on social opportunities and life skills. Nathalie is the older sibling of an adult with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).



Linda Sachs came to JAFCO in 2010 with more than 40 years of experience as a professional social worker and 20 years dedicated to providing services to families raising children and young adults with developmental disabilities. At JAFCO, she has been involved in community outreach, program planning and providing family support services which include counseling, support groups, parent education and parent social evenings. She also has developed the new Ability Center for children with developmental disabilities and their families. Linda is a licensed clinical social worker who holds a master’s degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in social work from SUNY at Buffalo in New York. She has specialized training in group work and facilitates groups for parents and grandparents.

Lily Serviansky will become Chair of the Board and Mojdeh Khaghan Danial will serve as General Campaign Chair, following their installation at Federation’s 86th Annual Meeting, on Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Jungle Island Ballroom.
