Jobless and Soon, Homeless

“CHUCK” WAS A SECURITY GUARD AT A DORAL SPORTING-GOODS STORE WHEN HE CONTRACTED COVID-19 AND WAS FORCED TO STAY HOME FOR THREE WEEKS.

When he recovered, he learned that his minimum-wage job was eliminated. After being evicted from his apartment due to lack of payment, Chuck was lucky enough to have a friend offer to let him sleep on his couch for a month.

As the days pass and Chuck’s temporary arrangement nears an end, he continues to look for work, but needs assistance to secure a new residence and support his most basic needs.
