Miami Mega Mission Israel 2012 Reunion Set for November 1

Miami Mega Mission Israel 2012 participants will have an opportunity to get together to relive the trip of a lifetime and reconnect with friends at a special Mega Mission Reunion hosted by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation on Thursday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. Family and friends of Mega Mission-goers also are welcome to join in on the fun at the Hilton Miami Downtown, 1601 Biscayne Boulevard.

A highlight of the evening will be an exclusive Israel briefing by David Makovsky, Senior Fellow and Director of The Washington Institute’s Project on the Middle East Peace Process. Click here to read more about the speaker.

“The Mega Mission reunion will be the first time the entire group will gather since our return to Miami,” said Saby Behar, Mega Mission Chair. “We will have the chance to be transported for a few hours back to Eretz Israel with music, dancing and Israeli food, as well as photos and videos of that wonderful 10-day journey.” The Mega Mission video will also be available for pick-up and purchase during the event, and bus photos will be distributed.

Throughout the evening, guests will be able to visit Federation’s Expo Area to obtain information about future missions and events for the coming year, which marks the kickoff of Israel’s 65th anniversary of independence and Federation’s 75th anniversary.

The cost to attend the Mega Mission Reunion is $54 per person and is not tax-deductible as a charitable donation. Dietary laws will be observed for the light fare buffet. There will be no solicitation of funds at this event.
