Rabbi Jonathan Fisch

Rabbi Jonathan Fisch has worked at Temple Judea in Coral Gables Florida since 2014. He knew from a young age he wanted to be a rabbi, supporting the Jewish community in fostering deep connections to Israel and bringing our rich traditions, teachings and stories to life. Three of his favorite duties as a rabbi for the greater Miami community are being a Police Chaplain for the Coral Gables Police Department, incorporating magic in Jewish events, and ensuring each encounter is filled with humor and holiness. When asked about his greatest successes in life, he answered, “meeting my best friend and wife, Abby, and raising our two daughters, Ayla and Yael. Nothing is better than these three souls." His go-to cocktails are Dirty Gin Martinis, Old-Fashioneds, and, for something sweet and non-alcoholic, he loves a Shirley Temple.
