Women's Philanthropy Installation Speaker

Eva Ritvo, M.D., a psychiatrist with more than 29 years of experience practicing in Miami Beach, Florida, is the author of Bekindr: The Transformative Power of Kindness and the founder of the Bekindr Global Initiative, a movement to bring more kindness in the world. She is also the co-founder of the Bold Beauty Project (BBP), a nonprofit that pairs women with disabilities with award-winning photographers to create art exhibitions that promote diversity and inclusion.

Dr. Ritvo frequently provides expert commentary on television & radio and is often a source for journalists. She is a segment host of the PBS series TechVersify and the co-author of The Beauty Prescription and The Concise Guide to Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Ritvo is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Clinical Psychiatry News and inaugural Health and Wellness columnist at The Beverly Hills Courier.

She is the former Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center and the former Vice-Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. She’s a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatry Association and a member of the American College of Psychiatrists. Dr. Ritvo received her undergraduate and medical degrees from UCLA and psychiatry residency training at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Lily Serviansky will become Chair of the Board and Mojdeh Khaghan Danial will serve as General Campaign Chair, following their installation at Federation’s 86th Annual Meeting, on Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Jungle Island Ballroom.
