Celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month With a Special Shabbat

In an effort to shine a light on Mental Health Awareness Month, Federation’s BeWell Miami is organizing Wellness Shabbat, a collaboration between Miami Dade synagogues and organizations over the course of the five Shabbatot in May. As the youth mental health initiative of Federation, BeWell is encouraging our Jewish community to come together to celebrate Shabbat, promote mental wellness and decrease the stigma around mental health. Whether you participate in services at your synagogue or host your own dinner, it is an ideal time to include mental health and wellness conversations. Click here to visit the Wellness Shabbat page, learn more about our partners and access a compilation of mental health resources. For more information about BeWell Miami, follow them on Instagram @BeWellMiami.
