A Statement from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation on the Har Nof Synagogue Attack

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation joins the worldwide Jewish community and the State of Israel in expressing its outrage and grief at this morning’s barbaric terror attack at Har Nof Synagogue in Jerusalem, which resulted in the murder of three dual US-Israeli nationals and one British-Israeli citizen. The cold-blooded and brutal attack on Jews gathered in prayer, wearing their tallit and tefillin, in violation of the sanctity of a holy place of worship demonstrates that the scourge of terror and the capacity of our enemies for evil know no limits.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation stands alongside our brothers and sisters across the world and in Israel in condemnation of these senseless murders and we call upon the community of nations to demand an end to the climate of hatred and incitement that leads to such horrific acts.

We pray for the full recovery of the eight victims injured in the attack and we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends and students of Rabbi Aryeh Kopinsky, Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Goldberg, Rabbi Calman Levine and Rabbi Moshe Twersky, zichronam livrakha. May they be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may the memories of the fallen forever be as a blessing.
