AMHSI Offers Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Is your teen looking to make a difference this summer? Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI) is offering high schoolers ages 15 and older the chance to participate in a Volunteer Teen Mission for one week in Israel, July 7-15. Participants will make an impact and provide immediate relief to the land and people of Israel through hands-on community service projects including rebuilding homes, planting trees, picking crops, preparing and serving meals and assisting at daycare facilities. Plus, participants will be able to explore AMHSI’s new Be’er Sheva campus, Muss South and experience the diverse communities of southern Israel. Included in the heavily subsidized price of $400 are accommodations, all meals, armed security, AMHSI professional educators, five to six hours of volunteering daily and transportation to and from the airport and all volunteer sites. Founded in Miami, AMHSI is a Federation beneficiary and receives an allocation from the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign. Registration closes two weeks prior to departure date.
