Mazal Tov Salomé Benitah for Making Federation Part of Your Bat Mitzvah

Salomé Benitah celebrated her Bat Mitzvah by using a tech-savvy way to give back to the Jewish community. Using MobileCause, an online fundraising platform, family and friends donated to the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/ UJA Campaign in honor of her simcha. With a few simple clicks, 28 donors contributed nearly $6,500 for the occasion. “I am really happy that my Bat Mitzvah fundraising made an impact in the Jewish community,” Salomé said. “I know I am very fortunate and I want every Jewish person in the whole wide world to be as blessed as I am … to always be happy and to live the best life they can live. I chose Federation because I have done other fundraisers with them, like Super Sunday, and I know and trust that they will make every penny count. I believe they make a real difference in Miami, in Israel, and around the world.” If you are interested in supporting the Federation/UJA Annual Campaign for your Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Text bnaimitzvah to 71777 and click on "Be a Mitzvah Teen" to create and personalize your own page.
