BeWell Together: A Youth Mental Health Summit

The mental health and wellbeing of our nation’s youth is at a critical point, with increasing reports of online bullying, suicidal ideation, depression and anxiety. Recognizing the urgent need to elevate and empower Miami’s young adults and champion their mental wellness, Federation’s BeWell Miami and the Wellness Institute are bringing our community together for a Youth Mental Health Summit on Sunday, March 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Jewish Leadership Academy. Led by experts in the field, including Dr. Andrew Shatte, Dr. Adam Perlman and Sophie Riegel, tracks for parents, educators, clinicians and young adults will delve into cutting-edge research on spirituality, and mental health, resilience, healthy attachments and communication, among other topics. Registration, which includes lunch and all sessions, is $18 for teens/students and $36 for adults. Click here for more information and to register.
