CAJE Program Supports Day School Students’ Mental Health

For students, the pandemic is particularly challenging as they navigate social isolation, online education and missed milestones. To help Jewish day school educators meet the emotional needs of their students, the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE), a Federation subsidiary, has created a Mental Health Network. The group of counselors and psychologists from Federation’s 10 funded day schools confidentially share real-life situations of students’ struggles, explore best practices, discuss professional development opportunities, advocate for resources and more. As the Network continues addressing topics related to mental health, its goal is to ensure no student or educator is alone. Click here to learn more about Miami’s Jewish day schools.
