Come Together to Commemorate Yom HaShoah

Observe Yom HaShoah with your Jewish Miami family on Sunday, April 27 at 6 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El, 1701 Washington Avenue. Presented by the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, the Yom HaShoah — Holocaust Remembrance Day — gathering will memorialize the 6 million Jews murdered and pay tribute to the courage and resilience of Holocaust Survivors. The program will feature Second, Third and Fourth Generation Survivors as well as an interview with a Survivor and former partisan in the Jewish resistance. Chaired by 2G Survivor Adam Hall, the event is free and open to the public. Those wishing to volunteer on Thursday, April 24, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to read the names of those who were killed in the Holocaust, please call Lida Shukrie at 786.366.6656.
