Community Effort Provides Kosher Breakfast and Lunch for Miami Schoolchildren

Teach Florida, a coalition of Jewish day schools, in partnership with the Florida Department of Agriculture, is providing an entire week’s supply of kosher breakfast and lunch for children ages 1-18 every week at various locations throughout South Florida. Miami’s two pick-up sites, the Kosher Ko-Op and Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes (YTCTE), are proud Federation partner agencies. While the program is available to all families with no restrictions on eligibility or income, registration is required. The deadline for next week's distribution — Tuesday at the Kosher Ko-Op and Wednesday at YTCTE — is today at 3pm. Click here to register for next week and visit the same link each to week to register for upcoming distributions. To date, nearly 44,000 meals have been provided to some 3,000 children.
