Federation Funds Eight Public-Access Defibrillators for Yerucham

“Thanks to Miami’s Jewish community, Yerucham is more ready than ever to assist our residents and those nearby in saving lives,” said Ofir Tsimmering, Yerucham Chair of the Miami-Yerucham Partnership. Tsimmering was speaking about his community’s recent acquisition of eight public-access defibrillators, purchased through a grant from The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. The lifesaving devices are being placed at different key locations throughout Yerucham, Israel, to immediately help those experiencing a cardiac event. “The city’s residents are discovering yet another layer of mutual responsibility and the true family-like bond between Miami and Yerucham,” he said. “We are grateful for the contribution and hope that the devices remain new inside their beautiful containers, never needing to be used.” Click here to learn more about the Miami-Yerucham Partnership.
