Volunteer at Everything but the Turkey and Make a Difference in the Community

Giving back makes the holiday season more meaningful. Join Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Center (JVC) for the 13th Annual Everything but the Turkey on Sunday, November 21 in North Dade at Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, 20400 NE 30 Avenue, Aventura or in South Dade at Temple Bet Shira at 7500 SW 120 Street. Volunteers will bake 1,000 individual pies and pack more than 400 bagged lunches for people served by Camillus House, Miami Rescue Mission and the Salvation Army. This year, JVC is offering options to participate at home or in person. Pick up all the ingredients you need from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the location of your choice and return the baked pies between 2-3 p.m. to Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center and between 3-4 p.m. at Temple Bet Shira.
