Volunteers Give Back With Everything But the Turkey

EBT

Creativity, flexibility and generosity were in action this past Sunday during the Greater Miami Jewish Federation Jewish Volunteer Center Everything but the Turkey Reimagined. More than 500 volunteers throughout Miami participated in this popular program, which was thoughtfully redesigned in the wake of the pandemic. From the safety of their homes, participants made more than 1,000 sandwiches, 300 muffins, 300 dinner rolls and 500 individual pies that were delivered to Camillus House, Miami Rescue Mission and Homestead Soup Kitchen. Thanks to their efforts, some of our city’s most vulnerable were able to enjoy the holiday. To learn about more ways to volunteer to make a difference in the community, click here.
