Explore the Wonders of Israel From Your Living Room

You can explore Israel from your living room thanks to the programs developed by Federation’s Senior Community Shlicha (emissary) Tamar Kolumbus. The interactive classes range from cooking and self defense to discussions on Israeli politics and explorations of Israeli film and are all available to watch here. During her time with Federation, she has collaborated with more than 17 organizations and 10 synagogues reaching hundreds of participants. Tamar recently met with the Miami Birthright participants in Zichron Yaakov for lunch and a walking tour. She shared stories about her work with the Jewish community in Miami. Federation’s overseas partner, The Jewish Agency for Israel, helps support the Shlichim program, which brings Israeli individuals to communities across the world to share the wonders of Israel and build connections to our spiritual homeland.
