Young Adults Can Make an Impact With Serve the Moment

Serve the Moment

Are you a young adult looking for a unique way to make a difference in our community in this extraordinary time of crisis? Federation has joined with other organizations including Repair the World Miami to create Serve the Moment. The program engages individuals aged 18-29 in 100 hours of meaningful service with a nonprofit partner while exploring Jewish values and contemporary social issues through online educational sessions. Applications for the spring corps are due Monday, February 15. Cohort members receive a stipend for their participation. Past service sites include the Belafonte TALCOCY Center, Guitars Over Guns, Federation’s primary human service partner Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) Kosher Food Bank and Ladies Empowerment and Action Program (LEAP).
