Israel Sephardic Music Fest to Take Place May 1-5 Across Four Miami Locations

Direct from Yerucham, Israel’s Kulna School for Traditional and Creative Arts and Music will present a week-long festival of Mizrahi music, May 1-5, celebrating Sephardic Jewry. The vibrant Israeli music genre marries Middle Eastern and North African elements in distinct and often mesmerizing melodies. Singer Shir Shealtiel, musician Aviv Trabulsi, and educator Ashira Horvitch, will perform at five events in four locations across Miami. Yerucham is Miami’s partnership community in Israel’s Negev region. The purpose of the partnership is to build meaningful relationships in order to strengthen both communities and to foster and develop a love of Judaism, Israel and the Jewish people.
