JCS Celebrates Opening of Newly Expanded JCS Kosher Food Bank

Federation partner agency Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) recently celebrated the opening of its newly expanded JCS Kosher Food Bank. Now 300 percent larger, the space has a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, dedicated volunteer workspaces and a learning center to further serve the community. Support from Federation's Annual Campaign helps sustain the program, which provides hundreds of at-risk families in Miami and low-income seniors a variety of non-perishable staples, canned goods, fresh produce, meat and frozen items.
