JVC Organizes Kindness Day at Alper JCC Miami

More than 100 participants came together last weekend for the first annual Kindness Day at the J, a joint program between Federation Jewish Volunteer Center (JVC) and Alper JCC Miami. Volunteers — the majority of whom were families with children — worked together to meet community needs with hands-on projects that spread joy and compassion. Throughout the day, they assembled DIY bracelet kits, made sunshine bags filled with uplifting essentials for those in need and crafted heartfelt birthday cards for children in community support programs. In addition to its numerous signature programs, JVC is focused on increasing capacity at Federation’s partner agencies. By creating additional access to Jewish life for community members and engaging more people in unique and meaningful ways, JVC is expanding our tent, forming a stronger and more connected Jewish Miami. For more information about JVC and how to get involved, call 786.866.8680.
