A Rainbow of Sexual Identities: Federation Supports the LGBTQ+ Jewish Community Through Keshet

All year long, and especially during Pride Month in June, Federation is proud to support Keshet, a Jewish nonprofit working for LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion. In addition to a yearly allocation to Keshet from the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign, this year, Keshet was also awarded a Federation Jewish Incubator Grant for an LGBTQ+ Equality and Inclusion Project. This grant supports consulting, education and training to agencies, synagogues and day schools throughout Miami to help organizations assess their programming, policy and culture to ensure LGBTQ+ Jews feel a sense of belonging in the Jewish community. Federation's Jewish Incubator Grants help fund initiatives that develop innovative and impactful programs and services that spur innovation and serve unmet needs in the areas of education, leadership development, inclusion and more.
