Feeding Israel With Project Leket

Your donations to Federation’s Annual Campaign are helping Israelis in need receive food and nutritional assistance. Through Leket Israel — the largest food bank in the country — food that would otherwise be considered waste is instead rescued and distributed to thousands of Israelis, including children, single-parent families and the elderly. Last year, Leket collected more than 30 million pounds of fresh food from catering halls, hotels, farms and military bases and delivered to those in need.
