Mark Your Calendars for Matzah Mitzvah

Help share the joy of Passover with Holocaust Survivors and other homebound older adults in our community by participating in Matzah Mitzvah on Sunday, April 6 at 9 a.m. The much-loved, family-favorite volunteer event will bring together hundreds of community members to pack and deliver Passover food and personal hygiene baskets to more than 500 individuals. Matzah Mitzvah is a collaboration between Jewish Community Services of South Florida and Federation. Many other local Federation partners also participate. Volunteers can join the effort in North Dade at Jewish Leadership Academy or in South Dade at Temple Beth Am. Advance registration is required and fills up quickly. Click here to register.
