Ministering to the Elderly Explores How to Grow Through the Aging Process

Explore how to learn and grow through the aging process at the 25th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference on Monday, June 7 at 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m. The virtual event, The Tapestry of Aging: Weaving Threads of Life, will feature Rabbi Laura Geller, co-author of the book Getting Good at Getting Older, and NYU professors David M. Elcott, Ph.D. and Stuart Himmelfarb, who will examine how to help seniors develop new paths for personal fulfillment. The conference is a collaboration between Federation’s Mishkan Miami, Jewish Community Services of South Florida and Miami Jewish Health. Continuing education credits are available for mental health care professionals, guardians and nursing home administrators. The $36 registration fee includes Rabbi Geller’s book.
