Ministering to the Elderly Conference to Focus on Caregivers

Save the date for the 27th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference, themed this year, “Mindfully Navigating the Caregiving Journey: Caring for Others as We Care for Ourselves.” Presented by Federation’s Mishkan Miami, Jewish Community Services of South Florida and Miami Jewish Health, the program will take place Thursday, June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the campus of Miami Jewish Health. The Ministering to the Elderly Conference is a practical forum for caring professionals and community and spiritual leaders, in addition to those concerned with enriching the lives of seniors. The cost to attend the program is $36 per person (not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution) and includes lunch and the opportunity to earn Continuing Education credits. Southern California Wildfires Relief Fund

As part of a Jewish response to the devastating wildfires in Southern California and the human tragedy that is unfolding, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is collecting funds to provide support and relief to fire victims and their families. One hundred percent of these funds will be distributed to help those affected by the wildfires.
