One Happy Camper® Offering Grants to First-Time Jewish Overnight Summer Campers

One Happy Camper®, a Federation-funded program, is offering grants to campers wishing to attend Jewish overnight summer camp for the first time. In partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Camp and Jewish overnight camps across North America, Federation provides need-blind grants of up to $1,000 to families with first-time campers attending nonprofit, mission-driven Jewish overnight summer camps. Eligible One Happy Camper candidates are Miami-Dade County residents ages 8-17 who attend public or non-Jewish private school and are registered with a nonprofit, Jewish summer camp listed on Find a Camp. In addition, campers must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 consecutive days. Federation also continues to offer Jewish Overnight Summer Camp Scholarships for campers ages 8-17 who reside in Miami-Dade County and demonstrate financial need. Applications must be received by Friday, January 31.
