JCRC Marches in Pride Parade

Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) joined the Consul General of Israel in Miami and other members of the Jewish community for the Miami Beach Pride Parade celebrating diversity and inclusion. Individuals waved Israeli and Pride flags demonstrating solidarity with the LGBTQ community. “Participating with friends and colleagues in the Pride Parade represented the strengthening of an important and meaningful commitment for JCRC and for me personally,” said Mojdeh Khaghan Danial, Chair of the JCRC. “Our presence was warmly welcomed and noted by countless people. They saw our message of Love is Love and how much the Jewish community cares about equality. We will continue to stand up against discrimination and work to create a more just, caring, inclusive world.” To learn more about JCRC’s advocacy efforts and community-building work, please email [email protected].
