While traveling has become a challenge these days, thanks to the power of technology, you can still learn about Israel from an Israeli. Tamar Kolumbus, Federation Senior Community Shlicha (emissary) continues to share Israeli insights during her weekly online series. Thousands of people have signed on to Zoom to hear about the country’s latest news, Israeli traditions, history and cultural touchpoints. Upcoming topics include life on an Israeli kibbutz and a Tu B'Shvat cooking class. Kolumbus is also offering her interactive, customized classes to our local agencies, synagogues and day schools.
