Federation Community Shlicha Brings Israel to Your Living Room

Schlicha

While traveling has become a challenge these days, thanks to the power of technology, you can still learn about Israel from an Israeli. Tamar Kolumbus, Federation Senior Community Shlicha (emissary) continues to share Israeli insights during her weekly online series. Thousands of people have signed on to Zoom to hear about the country’s latest news, Israeli traditions, history and cultural touchpoints. Upcoming topics include life on an Israeli kibbutz and a Tu B'Shvat cooking class. Kolumbus is also offering her interactive, customized classes to our local agencies, synagogues and day schools. Click here to see the weekly calendar of programs and catch up on any discussions you may have missed or email her at [email protected].
