Remember the Shoah on International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Shoah

Remember the 6 million Jews who were murdered during the Shoah and honor the brave Survivors on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Wednesday, January 27. The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, a Federation Committee, will commemorate the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz with a virtual screening of Who Will Write Our History, a documentary that follows the true story of a secret group of journalists and scholars who fought back against the Nazi regime with pen and paper. Participants are encouraged to view the film on their own here before joining the online discussion with Roberta Grossman, the film’s writer, director and producer. Survivor Dr. Miriam Klein Kassenoff, Director of the University of Miami Holocaust Institute and District Holocaust Educator for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, will lead an engaging discussion about Grossman's creative process and the importance of the film in Holocaust history.
