Alternative Spring Breaks in Israel Available for College Students
If you’re a college student, here’s a chance to make your spring break much more meaningful with an Alternative Spring Break (ASB), presented by the Jewish National Fund, in partnership with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the Jewish Volunteer Center, and the Israel and Overseas Department.
Get back and give back to Israel! Join other students and young adults from across the United States to experience what the early chalutzim (pioneers) experienced by participating in service projects in Israel.
By going on one JNF’s Alternative Spring Breaks, you’ll not only enjoy a fabulous spring break vacation, but you’ll strengthen your connection to the State of Israel. Participants also will visit Miami’s sister city, Yerucham, where we will be giving back to the city in a hands-on way.

Participants will be responsible for raising a minimum of $975, using an easy online program to communicate by email to family and friends. Monies raised will go toward JNF’s Blueprint Negev campaign supporting Israel’s newest generation of pioneers in developing, inhabiting, and preserving the Negev Desert — Israel’s last frontier. Once the money is raised, the program is FREE, paid for by generous JNF donors. Round-trip domestic airfare is not included.
