Summer Camp Scholarships Now Available

Anyone who has attended Jewish sleepaway camp, whether it was 10, 20 or 30 years ago, can attest that their memories of those summers are some of the happiest, most formative and long-lasting of their adolescence. Federation, too, recognizes that Jewish overnight camp is one of the most meaningful experiences a child can have and helps create a strong and positive Jewish identity. That’s why Federation offers two options to help offset tuition costs for Miami-Dade County residents: One Happy Camper and Jewish Overnight Summer Camp Scholarships. Apply for one of them today to give your child a Jewish summer experience that’s both unforgettable and more affordable. Partnering with One Happy Camper, a program of the Foundation for Jewish Camps, and Jewish overnight camps across North America, Federation provides need-blind grants of up to $1,000 to families with first-time campers who attend public school or non-Jewish private school. Federation is also accepting applications for our 2024 Jewish Overnight Summer Camp Scholarships for children ages 8-17 who can demonstrate financial need. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Click here to learn more and apply for either opportunity.
