Survey Shows Ukraine Aid Groups Working Well Together

When you make a donation to Federation's Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund, your contribution makes it possible for a network of global humanitarian aid and international development organizations to provide assistance to thousands of refugees in dire need of help. Among these institutions are Federation overseas partners the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), Chabad, Hillel International, IsraAid, The Jewish Agency for Israel, Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah. In fact, according to one organization's representative, “If you are a Jew in Ukraine, between all of the organizations involved, someone is going to provide you with a response…. JDC gives us the money, someone else gives us the food, at the border [The Jewish Agency] puts you on a plane, and another organization supports you when you arrive in Israel.” One reason the agencies are able to respond so quickly: Organizations like JDC were already on the ground in the region long before Russia invaded Ukraine, and were providing support to thousands of local residents each day. By donating to our Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund here, your contribution supports this collaborative effort.
