Volunteers Give Back to the Community This Holiday Season

Season for Giving

More than 300 volunteers made the holiday season more meaningful for others by participating in Federation Jewish Volunteer Center’s 12th Annual Jewish Community Volunteer Days. Volunteers of all ages helped the community through family-friendly activities that included preparing and serving more than 500 meals for the homeless, assembling more than 200 jars of overnight oats, creating more than 200 birthday boxes for at-risk youth and wrapping more than 1,000 presents for hospitalized children. Young adults gave back through programs with Repair the World Miami that included working in an urban garden and preparing a meal for at-risk teens.
