Women’s Impact Initiative Celebrates 10 Years of Grant-Making

The Women's Impact Initiative (WII) Committee recently announced the grantees for the 2024-2025 fiscal year with nine local organizations receiving a total of $80,000 to provide opportunities for Jewish Miami’s women and girls to achieve social, economic, religious and political equality. Some of this year’s WII-funded programs will help women support mothers of children with developmental disabilities; engage high schoolers in afterschool Jewish study; expand efforts in reproductive health education and advocacy and more. Since its creation 10 years ago, WII has distributed $630,000 in grants to 39 organizations that work to inspire and empower Jewish women and girls in Miami. Click here to see this year’s grantees.
