Changing Lives for Women and Girls in Miami

Miami-Dade County non-profit groups that seek to empower and inspire Jewish women and girls can find financial support with a Greater Miami Jewish Federation Women’s Impact Initiative grant. Federation is now accepting applications for organizations with creative ideas that promote social, religious and political equality for women and girls in Miami. Grants will range from $5,000 to $20,000 and will be competitively awarded to support new programs or the expansion of existing programs. Past recipients include initiatives that promote genetic testing for Jewish women, a theater group for religiously observant women and a program that supports a STEM curriculum for middle school girls. Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16. Click herefor more information and to apply.
