Women’s Amutot Initiative Grantees Announced

This year’s Women’s Amutot Initiative (WAI) grant recipients received more than $350,000, reflecting Federation’s unwavering commitment to champion marginalized female populations across Israel. A total of 17 organizations received allocations to help advance social, economic, religious and political equality for Israeli women from all walks of life. The trauma of unrelenting war is compounding already dire situations, including domestic abuse and financial instability, making these funded programs even more critical. Grant beneficiaries include Maslan, a sexual assault and domestic violence support center in the Negev, and Women’s Spirit, advocating financial independence for women survivors of violence. Other funding enables economic and social empowerment along with leadership development. Click here to learn more about WAI grantees.
